What Do You Know About Money?

Knowledge is power. Ignorance about the subject of money is the most fundamental reason for massive poverty globally. The subject of money is central to man’s comfort and survival in life, yet very very few people take time to really learn about money.
According to Michael LeBoeuf, author of “The Millionaire In You”, there are four critical things you must know about money:
·                         you must learn how to make money
·                         you must learn how to save money
·                         you must learn how to invest money
·                         You must learn how to protect and enjoy your money.
One of the basic rules of financial intelligence according to Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, is to focus on buying more assets rather than liabilities. Assets are things we legally own which has the capability of generating income. While liabilities are things we own that depletes our financial base.
In order to be knowledgeable in issues bothering on financial freedom, you must broaden your horizon  on business and investment by reading and listening to related resource materials like books, financial newspapers/magazines, audio and video cassettes/discs. You also need to attend money related courses and seminars. This is one of the primary ways you can gather and update all the information you need to succeed in personal financial development.
You also need a mentor. We are all product of references. Whatever you know now, you learnt from someone else. Teachers, coaches, counselors, consultants, or mentors are very essential in helping us not only to learn, but also avoid many unnecessary mistakes. Your education, talents and capital alone are enough to guarantee you success.
Your need to prayerfully and carefully search out someone who is highly successful in your area of passion, and then beg him/her to be your coach. This way you’ll move faster and with fewer mistakes.
Your progress in life is governed by what you know, and those you associate with. Pursue knowledge and push yourself further up in life. Taking time to acquire financial intelligence makes you to easily attract valuable business and investment opportunities you never knew existed before.

DISCOVER THE RIGHT ROUTE TO WEALTH

To be rich is not the same thing as being wealthy. Riches have to do with the amount of money, but wealth has to do with time i.e. how long one can guarantee a comfortable living without necessarily working. There are many ways to make money, but there are only few healthier, easier ways to achieve financial freedom.

FIVE ROUTES ACCORDING TO MICHAEL LEBOEUF:
1.      Slave Route: this route is characterised by people who have little or no neither money nor discretional time of their own. They have surrendered to “fate”, believing that they’ll have to live depending on some other “privileged” people. For these kinds of people, except there is a fundamental change of belief, they are doomed to a lifetime of poverty.

2.      Grasshopper Route: people on this route have plenty of time but little or no money. They could be very well educated, but generally lack the knowledge and motivation for self-development and actualization. Whether they are working or not, they normally have no visions or plan for a greater future. Riotous spending, no savings, dependency, etc characterize people on this route.

3.      Employee Route: this route is represented by people who trade their time for money. They focus on earning to spend on rent, transport, food and other life needs. These people spend their lives minding other peoples business instead of their own. Being illiterates in business and investment, they normally crave job security and dread risk taking. For these ones, their wealth begins and ends with their pay check.

4.      The owner Route: People on this route have plenty of money but little time. They normally work hard for money instead of their money working for them. These people are undoubtedly rich not wealthy, having not enough time to enjoy their money.

5.   The winner Route: This route is characterized by people who have plenty money and time. They are highly financially intelligent and know how to make their money work for them instead of them working for it. They also use OPM (other people’s money) and OPT (other people’s time) techniques in building lifetime wealth for themselves and others. These people also know how to give back to the world through philanthropy; and enjoy their life with abundant time.

             UNIVERSAL CASHFLOW SOURCES (ROBERT KIYOSAKI)
1.      EmployeesThese are people who take jobs in other people’s business. Their key watchword is “job security” and “benefits”. They are normally too “smart” and civilized to take risks.

2.      Business owners – These are people who want to be their own boss or do their own thing. They rely solely on their professional training and talent.

 3.   Investors – These people make money with money. They don’t have to work because their money is working for them. This is the playground of the rich. Regardless of which route you are, if you hope to be rich, ultimately you must come here.

The truth is that we can all not attain riches through the same way and the same route. The most important thing is to determine where your passion lies and try to master the rules for making money in that area. You can make money by investing in stocks or real estate.  You can also attain great riches by building and owning your own business. Some build their financial fortunes from the internet.

The most important thing is for you to know the route you are familiar with, learn the system and follow that system to the letter.  Don’t be attracted by the system your friend is using to make his own money.

Also note that making money anywhere,  requires careful planning. It requires a change of mind, attitudes and habits. It requires setting specific goals. It requires acquiring the necessary intelligence and skills in the area, which you desire to make money. It requires  diligence and understanding that you may face some obstacles in your journey to financial freedom, but if you persist, you will surely get there.

Decide To Break Free From Poverty And Lack!

The most important factor in your financial success is your DECISION to become wealthy. This is the law of choice; what you choose is what you get in life. Your decision determines your destiny.
Will power is essential to any success. Will power is based on faith, confidence and conviction. Where there is a will, there is a way. Will power can be developed by persistence, by working on your goal and by reading or listening to the biographies and works of successful people.

As a man thinks in his heart, so he is. The way poor people think is entirely different from the way rich people think. There are certain beliefs that characterise the wealthy just as the poor are also characterised by some set of perceptions.

Normally your belief becomes your reality. Whatever you intensely believe and confess becomes reality in your life with time. Successful people absolutely believe that they have the ability to succeed. They never entertain, think or talk about the possibilities of failure. Your beliefs govern your actions and your actions determine your destiny.

It’s actually your mindset that determines whether you’ll be poor or wealthy in life. Your personality determines your financial conditions at any given time. If you learn to imbibe certain core values, making money becomes like a child play. Your habits can attract money to your life or make money fly away from you.

If you fail to plan, you have actually planned to fail. Wealthy people live by plans-carefully laid out, and religiously implemented. Set a long-term financial goal for where you want to be in 5 years and a smaller, short-term goal for where you want is in 12 months.
